“Carbon footprint” is a recently coined term that has come
to mean the amount of carbon dioxide emission directly or indirectly from a
person's or business's activities. Trees and other plants capture carbon by
breathing in carbon dioxide and releasing only healthy oxygen. Over the life of
a tree several tons of carbon directly from carbon dioxide can be sequestered
from the air and stored as environmentally beneficial carbon in leaves, wood
and roots.
Though the effects of carbon dioxide are highly

contract with us to plant 100 trees or more over their lifetime. The great
thing is that people and businesses seeking to deal with their carbon output
can have their trees planted one at a time as their budget permits or they can
contact us to arrange for a large scale planting, all aimed at permanently
offsetting human carbon dioxide input on Earth.
For $25, World Tree Project will find a stable location,
properly prepare a planting hole, plant a quality tree such as Live Oak, Pecan,
Pine, Redwood etc. and send you notification that the tree is
planted within 90 to 180 days of sale. World Tree Project will check up on
the tree and replant any trees that have failed to survive or thrive their
first year of life.
